Prayer Plant | Blue Grass

This Calathea is often called furry feathers, or velvet calathea due to its fuzzy stems and furry undersides to its leaves. The tiny hairs that cover this foliage plant make it soft to touch. Known as Blue Grass, at times the leaves can appear a blueish-green depending on the maturity of the leaves. The prayer plant is aptly known due to the movement of the leaves dependant on the lighting and time of day. You may even hear it move!
